Spring Has Sprung
The answer to the first question is, yes it will get cold again. How cold? It’s any ones guess, but on average we can expect frost till May. We can also expect more rain, and possibly more snow. ‘It always snows on the dogwood blossoms’ is a saying that is often true. Q: My cercis canadensis was so coverered with seed pods that it was unsightly last year. There were leaves just at the end of most branches. Any ideas of what I could do to prevent this? Q: Do you know where we can order some organic soil? We need 4 yards - we have 2 raised beds to fill. Our garden is organic and we would like organice soil. The local topsoil companies I have called have sand & compost or topsoil & compost mixtures but can't say they don't have pesticides, etc. We are Growing!
